Author's POV-
The palace was decorated like a bride. The palace was shying like a bride and nervous like a groom. It was filled with giggles, some scoldings, hustle and bustle of arrangements, music and of all the excitement.
The Bride's side of the palace was filled with Shreya's nervous scolding about the bride's entry, and her best friend's dress. Mother's and father's emotional sentiments were overpowering as their loved daughter was about to leave their house.
Ayaan's excitement about her sister leaving was on another level. More than he knew that he would be a crybaby when she left.
But there was one silent room, strawberry and regal scent was engulfed in the room. The sound of anklets and pounding hearts was the only sound in a silent room.
In the room someone was nervous with sweaty palms and an adrenaline rush was about to kick in. That someone was clad in a blood-red lehenga with the veil on her head. Maangtikka was perfectly placed, the diamond choker and emerald were resting on her neck beautifully and she was glancing herself in the mirror.

"I'm about to get married. I am about to marry the love of my life. We are going to be forever." Her thoughts running.
"Chand ka tukda lag ri ha meri bachi." Her parents along with Shreya entered the room with a thali in her hand. She looked at them smiling brightly but everyone knew what nervousness she was holding.
"Thank you maa." She whispered as her voice died looking at her family. She stood and moved to them. Her mother and Shreya did her puja and her father engulfed her in a warm and comforting hug.
"Don't you dare to cry? Your make will ruin." Shreya hissed as she moved my hand near my eyes to rub them. She bought her tongue between her teeth as she forgot that she had makeup on.
"I want to eat," Ahana stated and Shreya nodded in a second to get the hungry bride something to eat.
On the other side, The Groom's side of the palace was filled with beats of Dhols, waves of laughter and one person's desperation to get her bride home.
"Maa, bhai kahn haa?" Yashikaβs scream echoed in the hall. Upon hearing her shocking words a panicked mother, a confused father and over-chilled friends entered.
"Rudransh? Where is he, Ashutosh?" Her mother asked Ashutosh who was also not aware of his disappearance.
"Aunty he went to Shiv Mandir. And now he is in his room." Abhishek and Mihir explained.
The Groom's room was very much different from the Bride's. He was not nervous. He was desperate to make her his. He was looking like a King, regal and utterly handsome in Golden Sherwani.
Rudranshβs POV-
In a few hours, I was about to get married. I was going to make her mine forever and ever.
I took long deep breaths looking in the mirror for the first time I felt nervous. Like I was sweating. I haven't felt this nervous about a billion-dollar deal but today this nervousness was making me happy and light too.
More than me my family was happy. They saw a new me around her and that made them feel happy. According to Yashika, Ahana is the lucky charm of the family. And she felt correct. She is the lucky charm of my life and fate.
The doors were slammed open when I saw my three asshole friends enter. The over smiling Ashutosh, The idag Abhishek and the original bastard Mihir.
Ashutosh and Mihir sat on the sofa and started scrolling through their but Abhishek came to me. "I am very bad at giving advice. But I will say one thing, Ahana is best for you. She sees good in you which I absolutely don't. Never make her cry because now she has two brothers." I raised my eyebrow at his question and he understood my confusion.
"Me and Ayaan." I shrugged my shoulders as I chuckled at his response. "Laugh it off but remember my words." He patted my shoulder which he thought would make me scared but I still laughed.
I would never do anything to make her cry. He is a bastard for thinking it that way. But I feel good for him as finally he took a step towards her and considered her family. Because he is someone with real experiences especially with women.
"Come on. The Groom is been called. Let's get our Brother married." Ashutosh practically jumped from the sofa and screamed in excitement as Yashika called me to come out.
"Let's get you forever mine love," I whispered as I glanced one last time in the mirror and went outside the room.
As we walked through the palace, I saw my mum, dad, Yashika and other familie members. My mum was standing with an arti thali and behind her were the dhol and I honestly don't know how many were in number.
She did my arti and I sat on the rath. "Maa, it's not even 2-minute way to her," I said because it was just approx not even 2 steps. "Don't make me scold you on your special day." She glared and everyone laughed and I glared to them.
The Dhol started, and firecrackers were busted as my father signalled the Bharat to move. I saw the maddened Ashutosh, Yashika and my cousins dancing in front.
We reached the mandap area which was 2 minutes away but they needed to get me in the rath. I stepped down and saw her family standing on the entrance with big smiles and I returned them with a smile.
"Arre Jija sa ap toh chamak rahe hn." Shreya voiced as I stood in front of them. She got a smack on her head from my mother-in-law and now when I looked beside I saw smiling faces.
I bent to touch the elder's feet and they kept their hand on my head as they gave me blessing.
"Rudransh and his friends whom I guess you consider brothers please stand here. We have to do a rasm." Her mum said and the over-excited friends of mine literally hooped from behind me.
"Ayaan bhi bhai hai humara," Ashutosh exclaimed and Ayaan was about to come to her mum stopped him holding his wrist.
"But bhai log, unfortunately, I'm Ahana di's brother first." That dramatic brat said with a sad expression. And her father smacked his head making everyone laugh.
"Maa how much more time?" I asked my mother but these rituals were never ending.
Was I desperate to see my wife? Yes, I was and I am.
"We are almost done, Damad ji." I heard her mum answering as her lips curled into a smile.
Then we made our way to the mandap. It was fully decorated with red roses golden lights and the view was magical to my eyes. I was imagining her looking at this beauty and how her cheeks would light from a smile.
I sat on the mandap and the pandit started chanting the mantra. Due to desperation, I started fidgeting my fingers because I wanted to see her but didn't let me and is not bringing her out now.
"Abh Dulhan ko bulayein." Pandit Ji asked her mum. "Shreya, Ayaan. Jao Ahana ko lekar aao." Her mum whispered to them and they nodded.
I stood from my seat and faced the big stairs which were earlier behind me. My heart was pounding inside of me and that fucking nervous nerve came back running.
The music started playing in the background but my eyes were glued to get that one view but she didn't come.
"Keep calm. Aa rhi ha tumhari malkin." I rubbed my heart as it wasn't calming. There were quick switches on of lights, red roses started to shower from numerous directions and a figure came into my view.
A queue of ladies with big fire-like torches in their hands came one by one down the huge stairs but again she didn't.
There was a pin-drop silence when I heard the sound of Anklet which was familiar to me. My eyes glued in that direction and the song played as the firecrackers busted.
A beautiful woman came into my view, clad in a red heavy lehenga as she held her lehenga from the sides. She stood in the center and our eyes met directly.
She was standing far away but still, I could feel her gaze on me. She was looking like a goddess my goddess.
She started to descend the stairs slowly and hooting started making the sound of the music fade. As she was stepping down the aisle, I felt my homecoming to me. The flashback of us fighting, crying, laughing, joking and if all loving crossed my eyes.
She took one more step down and I felt my peace and my reason for living grew stronger. A happy tear fell in my eye and I quickly wiped that off because I surely didn't want to get teased by these shits.
I stepped down from Mandap and went towards her. I went closer to my life, to my universe and of all to my home. I forwarded my hand for her to take.
I stood and took a closer view of her. The thing on her body was just breathtaking. Red crept down her cheeks and I knew it wasn't make-up but natural.
I held her cold hands into the warmth of mine and she smiled brightly. "Welcome Home, biwi" I whispered as I kissed her hand.
"Welcome Home, pati dev." She whispered and kissed my hand too.
I slowly guided her towards the mandap as Shreya and Yashika came running to help her with her lehenga.
"You are looking the epitome of beauty. Just like my wife." I whispered as she stood beside me.
Red crept on her cheek and she smiled sheepishly.
"It is heavy." She leaned and whispered.
"Then you shouldn't have worn it."
"Are you mad?" She looked at me with furrowed eyebrows while Pandit Ji chanted the mantras in the background.
"I would have made you mine in your pyjamas or shorts only." I winked as I stated the fact. The big fat Indian Wedding was families choice. I would have picked her up, go to court and just marry her off with me.
She blushed at the words and averted her eyes from me. "Abh Var aur Vadhu ek dusre ko varmala pehnayein ge." The pandit ji said and we were given the varmalas.
We both faced each other and held our Varmalas tight and steady. She looked right in my eyes and winked. Pandit Ji told her to make me wear the varmala first.
I went close to her when I heard Ashutosh chuckling, "Bhai first we thought that we wouldn't let bhabs make you wear it but only she is the one who can keep you in check and we feel safe. So, we are now from Bhabs' side." He said and everyone went and stood behind her and I looked behind only to find my parents and a smiling Abhishek.
I smiled because more than they knew I had already surrendered myself to hers. She can do anything to me and I'll just smile. She smiled brightly and was about to flip her hair but she soon realised that they were in a bun.
I bowed in front of her and she made me wear the Varmala. A loud bust of flowers was showered on us. Now it was my turn to make her wear.
I took a step forward towards her, as I raised my arm to encircle the varmala she was in the air. "Oye, don't make me fall." She shrieked. Ashutosh, Ayaan and Mihir had lifted her on their shoulders.
"Chal abh pehena." They exclaimed in excitement and everyone was enjoying. "Ayaan your PS5 will get cancelled if you don't place her down," I whispered to Ayaan and he froze.
"Yr why everyone is behind my PS" he cried lazily and Ashutosh glared. "Ayaan, PS5 at your house delivered," Mihir spoke and then they were glaring at me. Fucking bastards.
I stood there but suddenly I felt myself in the air. I looked down only to see my guards the ones who were very close to me including Abhishek lifting me.
"We won't let our sir fail. Never." A guard spoke and I laughed. "This is when you earn people." I shot my glares at them only to see my wife smiling.
We both were at the same level in the air. She bowed a little giving me an easy shot and I made her wear the Varmala.
Everyone clapped and once again the flowers were showered. They placed her down and we both sat in front of the holy fire as the pandit ji started to chant the mantra.
"Ru." She elbowed me as she whispered my name. I hummed in response.
"Have you eaten something?" I looked at her in confusion. Was she hungry? Did she need something to eat?
I nodded her in a no. And her eyes widened. "What?" She let out an exasperated whisper and her mother her to keep ssshhh.
"Why? You want something, love?" I whispered while joining hands as we were told to do so.
"Nahi, I ate. My stomach is full but you are empty stomach. You should have eaten something." She whispered while pouting with a stressed expression.
I wanted to kiss her right there and then. She was looking so cute and hot at the same time her pout was just ticking time.
"I'm not babe. I saw you. I'm full."
"Aye, haye. So cringe." We heard a sound from behind and I looked to see it was Yashika. Ahana laughed at her words and I gritted her and shot her some daggers.
"Abh, kanya ke pita agge aayein kanyadan ke lie."
Ahana's POV-
I was nervous. Before going to mandap I saw myself a hundred times in the mirror and touched everyone to be pin-perfect.
All my insecurities flew away when I saw a smiling Rudransh down the aisle waiting for me. The butterflies in my stomach went wild when I looked around and then at him.
He held my cold hand into a warm one as a warm shiver ran down my spine making my goosebumps erupt.
My father came forward as Pandit Ji asked to. He sat beside me and looked at me. My eyes met his and I saw moist eyes for the first time.
Seeing his moistness made all my emotions to my throat as my vision started to get blurry. He took my hand and placed it on Rudransh's hand as my eyes fixed on my father's face.
"Meh hoon, papa." I heard Rudransh answering my father's unsaid questions, worries and stress. A smile appeared on my father's face and he nodded.
I looked at my husband's face and I fell for him all over again. "Papa, yeh bhi Rudransh Ahana Kapoor hai." My father and husband laughed at my words and I saw Pandit Ji smiling too.
"Samdhi ji, Don't worry. I have three daughters like you. Yashika, Ahana and Shreya." My mother-in-law spoke and I looked at Shreya. I knew how it would make her feel and she stiffened.
Our eyes met and she smiled. My father stood after doing the ritual and I felt something on my forehead only to find him pecking my side of the forehead.
"Aap he hume sambhal sakte hain." He whispered under his breath and my tears were long gone.
"Abh vaar sindoor bhareinge vadhu ki maang meh." Pandit Ji said and his mother forwarded her hand with the vermillion box in her hand.
He looked at me before taking a pinch from it to fill my hairline. I smiled brightly and he took the box from his mum's hand.
He brought the box to my eye level and my heart raced. He took a pinch of sindoor and a voice stopped the moment.
"Bhai app nhi puchoge laga dun?" Yashika almost shouted and everyone looked at her as my lips curved into a smile.
He looked at her then me. "Why would I ask? She is already mine and we are here for the family's satisfaction." He looked at me nodding in agreement.
I chuckled at this asshole and this made me realize that he hadn't read romances. Pandit Ji laughed at his words.
"Rudransh," I whispered and yelled at him and looked at me innocently. "Lago do. Muje rona aa jayega." I said and he grinned.
Only I know how I controlled my laughter there. He took a pinch of vermillion and filled my hairline as some of it fell on the bridge of my nose.
"I'm sorry. It fel--" he was interrupted by his mother.
"It is a stroke of good luck, Ansh. A marriage filled with just love." She completed making my cheeks red and his eyes were fixed with all the damn time.
God!!! How did you gimme this hot creation of yours? I sighed and my jaw wasn't closing.
After that, we were told to stand as we had to take the pheras now. He and Shreya helped to stand in that heavy-ass lehenga.
He held my hand all this time while taking pheras. With every promise he was squeezing my hand assuring me that he was there to fulfil every word of it.
"Aj se ap dono pati patni. Mubarak ho." The pandit ji announced.
"Hum toh pehle se he the." My husband looked in my direction while uttering the cutest word and winked in my direction.
Everyone hugged each other, firecrackers in the air, flowers on us the best thing. We both stood from our place and he made me look at him. He held me by my waist and pulled me closer.
"Hello, Mrs Rudransh." He whispered.
"Hello, Mrs Rudranshke Pati," I responded and he kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes to feel that warmth.
We took a step down from mandap. "Where are my shoes?" Rudransh exclaimed looking here and there.
I looked at Shreya and she winked in my direction. She hadn't told about it to Ayaan as he was on Rudransh's side and he would have spitted everything out.
When everyone realised that joote chupaai had already taken place they were too stunned to react.
"Bhai inhone jhoote chupa diye hn." Yashika shook her brother from his shoulder and he looked at me.
"Abh?" He asked me so innocently that I wanted to tell Shreya to give him right away. "You need to give money" Shreya spoke.
"In your dreams" Ashutosh mocked her with hands on his hips.
"Can I please sit? Then we can proceed." I pleaded because the lehenga was too heavy to stand in. Everyone agreed and we both sat on a sofa.
"Give the shoes back," Abhishek said in his monotonous tone to which Shreya flipped her hair on his face. "You stay mum. No one needs your word." She shushed and he smirked.
"Bache dedo joote." My great-mother Teresa decided to speak. "Maa let Jeeja and Saali talk." I stopped her and she huffed.
"And how come I don't know anything?" Ayaan spoke only to get a smack from Shreya.
"Because we never know when he lures you with your PS5 and you decide to spit the secret."
He huffed a breath out and sat beside me. "Jeeja ji start the bid for your shoes." Ru stood from my side holding my hand tightly and I saw his expression change to business.
"Ladies first." He signalled her to start.
"One lakh." She spoke and my eyes widened including everyones.
"Bhai she is crazy," Ashutosh spoke.
"For shoes. Ruk we'll bring you another pair." Ashutosh was about to move when he was stopped.
"Jeeja and Saali talks," Rudransh smirked in his direction and stopped. I smiled but my mum was glaring at me and Shreya.
"You know what. Your friend is irritating me now it is 2 lakhs 50 thousand." She said in an authoritative tone and Rudransh chuckled.
"Done." He said.
"What?"
"What?"
The voice came from Ayaan and Ashutosh while Yashika and others enjoyed this banter.
"Kya what? Not 2 lakh 50 thousand you'll get 3 lakhs." He said as he squeezed my hands while looking at Shreya.
"These are your shoes jeeja ji." She had this beautiful bright smile on her face as she bought the shoes.
Meanwhile, he looked at Abhishek and nodded in some code language. "Money is in your account." He said and she checked her phone.
"Thank you." She smiled as he gave the box to him and he smiled. I was looking at him all this time and I swear I was melting. This bastard was my favourite human.
"You could have negotiated," I whispered leaning onto him as he sat. "Ahh! Then there would have been no fun because I would have won at any cost then." He said while flexing his jawline in pride and chuckled at his words.
"I love you."
"I love you more." He leaned a placed a kiss on my forehead.
-------------------------------------
I decided that I would not cry not even a bit but here I was bawling my eyes out while hugging my mother and holding my father's hand.
On the same night, we flew from Udaipur and now we were in Delhi at our house performing vidaai rituals.
"Bache." My mother rubbed my back but my tears weren't stopping. My everything would be changed from this moment and I would not get scolded by my mum or my father would not be there to defend me.
I would miss them like anything in my life. "Maa Paa I will miss you" I managed the words out of my mouth which I don't know were lost in my throat.
I pulled back from the hug and wiped their tears and they kissed my forehead. I saw a large hand rubbing my waist and it was no one than my lovely husband whose eyes were glued to mine and he tried to calm me.
"Where is Ayaan?" I scanned everywhere. Shreya was also not here.
"He has something to say." Shreya pulled him by his arm and made him stand in front of me. He stood by his head was lowered. I felt he did something wrong but when I heard I cried more.
"Di, I will miss you. And I love you." He said and first time Mr Ayaan Kapoor was in tears. I saw his red eyes and he hugged me.
"I will miss you too kutte." I hugged him tighter and rubbed his back. He snuggled to me and I patted his back because of how much we fought at the end of the I LOVE HIM and he is my baby Ayaan.
"Why aren't you crying?" I asked Shreya. "Because I will always be there for you no matter how far you go. I have to keep people in check so they are there for you babe." She side-hugged and I punched her hard as she groaned.
"Chalein," Ru asked as he slid me beside him. I sniffed my nose as I nodded to him. I gave a last hug to my family and I was still in tears.
He guided me towards the car and moved with him. We reached in front of a black Aston Martin. She was beautiful elegant and classy. I looked behind her and to my eye length, there were just black cars in my view.
"Why there are so many cars?" I asked Ru curious. "You wanted a car-tracked vidaai. So, this is for you." I looked at him with disbelief. He can't be serious. I mentioned that I don't know how long.
"How many are there?"
"You wanted 70. So, we have 70 meri jaan." He said as he kissed the side of my forehead. I wiped my tears off and moved a little forward to get a nice view.
They all looked regal like pure mafia types and I somehow loved it. He opened the door for me and I sat. Shreya adjusted my lehenga and I pecked her cheek before she closed my door.
I was married. We were married and It felt warm and homely. We drove home and he was constantly rubbing my hand and kissing it I don't know how many times.
-------------------------------
We reached his home where he lived with his parents. They did our Garh Parvesh and entered while kicking the Kalash slightly.
Then I dipped my feet in red kumkum (color) and then walked on a white cloth. He held me tightly all the while so, that I didn't trip.
After that, we had our to-do one rasam. A big pot filled with milk and petals was kept in front of us. We had to find the ring inside it and whoever wins has the upper hand in the marriage.
"Bhai and Bhabhi. On the count of three, you start." Yashika squealed and I looked at him.
"1"
"2"
"3"
And my gamer mode was on. Our hands were roaming inside the pot and then I felt that he had taken the ring. I looked at him and winked at him making him freeze in his position and I took the ring.
"Ahh!! Ahu will rule now." My mother-in-law squealed and we high-fived.
-----------------------
"Bache Yashika will guide you towards the room. Take rest. No need to wake up early." He hugged and pecked on my forehead as I nodded being happy from the fact that I'll sleep till late.
Yashika took me to the room and I entered. The room was huge like really huge but he wasn't in here.
It was beautifully decorated with red and white roses. As I took a step forward my eyes fell on a photograph which was hung on the wall in a golden frame.
It was ours from the trip. It was beautiful. That was surely an Unforgettable Roadtrip. I ran my fingers over it but suddenly I felt nervous.
I went near the bed when I heard the opening and then the locking of the door. I didn't turn because I knew who it was.
As the footsteps grew louder, my heart beat a speed faster. I suddenly felt big, strong, warm and veiny hands around my abdomen which were pulling me as I felt warm breath in my neck.
He snuggled deep on the crook of the neck and placed a soft kiss there.
He sucked a little and a moan left my mouth.
"How do you like it?" He whispered.
"Rough and Dirty." I responded.
"Are you ready to get fucked rough and dirty, Princess?"
He whispered and my breath hitched.
THE END.
