ABHISHEK
"But Dad the deal can be signed without me being tied with her." I contradicted as my father was not in a state to listen.
Aditya Malhotra is the best father a kid could dream of. He is my idol but today I was looking at him in disbelief as his words did not match his love for me as his son.
"It cannot. He is one of the oldest clients." He shrugged his shoulders and I looked at him.
Something is fishy.
"So, what? We can basically buy him and his company." I stated the facts and he looked angry now.
"I know we can but some things are better done by being silent. And what do you think I and Rudransh's father are fucking fools? We know what we are doing!" His voice echoed in the living room as he emphasised the last sentence.
"Dad, I will marry any girl you say but not her. Not at any freaking cost." I stated and he gave me a deadly glare.
Was I scared of him? Yes! But today I was not instead I was very sensing something fishy. He knew that I hated her. But then why?
"Why do you hate her?" He asked crossing his arms in front of him.
I don't have any particular reason to hate but I just do. She is too over for me. Her presence tests my patience. It's just I don't like anyone.
I didn't answer him instead, I shoved my hands in my pocket and took little steps towards him.
Something was fishy for fucking sure but this man and his friend are way too strong to hide it.
"Tell me what is it? And I'll do as you say." I said in a low yet strong voice to let him know that I was there for him. I do not know why I said the last sentence but I did.
The curious ass of mine wanted to hear the real reason.
"There is nothing to hide. For a long time, I wanted you to get settled and Now I see this as a perfect opportunity. You will have a perfect partner and the company will also have profits." So, he is ready to barter his son. What the fuck is wrong with him?
I was about to say something when he started speaking again.
"See, bacche Don't ever think that I am bartering you or something. I love you. You are my only home. And whatever I am doing is for the good. We have checked everything and after that only I have come to you. I would not have agreed if the girl would not have been good. But she is perfect. Perfect you could ever get." He said as I noticed some tears brimming in his eyes.
"Dad but why her? I cannot stand her near me for more than 2 minutes then why?" I said being frustrated as he did not understand.
He put my hands on my shoulder and looked at me. "This is the contract. Read it through! I have attached a letter. I cannot vocal it so, read it. Then make a decision." He forwarded a company logo envelope to me.
I looked him dead in the eye but he seemed genuine. His eyes and actions were screaming louder the words could.
I took him in a hug. "Don't worry Dad. I'll go through it." I uttered and he nodded.
I might be the coldest and rudest person in the world. But for my father, I cannot be. I cannot see him getting weak and tears should not come near him.
After everything he went through, he still chose me and stayed with me.
I don't know why he is doing this but I'm sure something big is what they are hiding.
I took the papers from him and saw him leaving my penthouse.
I looked at the papers and thought about what could they have to say about my life now.
I was not able to comprehend what was happening. Me getting married to her? Her presence annoyed me. She is not the type I ever wanted. I don't think I can ever even think of loving her. She is just too much like too eww much.
I made a cup of espresso for myself and sat with the contract papers. I tore the envelope and pulled a semi-thick bundle of papers outside.
I held the crisp white sheets in my hand and thought about how my life would be drastically changed after I read them.
'Only for the sake of your father Abhishek. Read it. How bad it can go?'
I thought and turned over to the next page as I sipped on my espresso.
I started reading clause by clause. The deal was not pretty much but very much profitable for the company.
But Clause No. 10 caught my attention. I put the cup down and started to read with my utmost concentration.
My hands started to clench into a fist and paper started to crumble under my hold. I felt clenching of my jaws and I felt my body started to get hot.
What The Fuck? How can he be a father? Oh My God. The sudden urge to punch something came running to me.
Reading further just made me realise how low a human could stoop and that too for her freaking daughter.
Anger was consuming me as I read ahead. I felt my vein on the forehead popping and a sudden urge to take a puff came running.
I stood from the couch and opened the drawer where my cigarettes were kept. I took it between my fingers and lit it bringing it near to my lips as I took a big puff.
'A father? A fucking father?' This consumed my brain and my surroundings seemed suddenly more neat and I wanted to crash it down.
But instead, I took my car keys, the damn papers and moved to my car. I punched the code to my elevator and moved down to my garage.
I sat on my Aston Martin and drove off. I accelerated as my anger towards that man was suddenly getting bigger than my hate for her.
I reached the office and parked my car. I took a chewing gum and started chewing it. Going around Rudransh with a cigarette smell can cause me a smack.
Rudransh Raichand is not like before he has become more responsible, and what do we say ahh a changed man for his girl. And we like to see him this way.
I entered the office and quickly walked into our personal elevator and pushed the button to my floor.
The moment the elevator door opened, I saw Ashutosh standing in a corner and totally engrossed in his phone. I tried to walk past him ignoring his existence.
"Oye, Laila." I heard him noticing me walking past him. I did not stop and who the fuck calls LAILA in fucking office.
I took long strides pushed the door of my cabin office and entered. I heard him entering too.
"I'm hurt. How could you do this to me?" The over-dramatic ass said exaggeratedly. "Fuck off Ashutosh."
"Why do you look so fucked up?" He said he sat opposite my table. My brain was about to explode and I needed another puff.
"Where is Rudransh?" I asked him.
"He is gone to some site visit." I nodded and now I could have a puff in peace.
I took my cigarette out and lit it having a big puff to soothe my brain.
"What is it?" He sounded now serious.
"Wait a minute," I said as I picked up my telecom to call my assistant.
"Good morning, Sir." She said.
"Arrange the meeting with the new deal clients and only the owner. No one else." I said in a firm tone.
"OK, sir. Meeting at 4 pm." She said and I hummed in response.
"Call Rudransh and I'll tell you both together. Keep him on speaker." I do not have the energy to repeat it again and again.
And I do not know but when I read that shitty words of her father I felt a little sad for her. This feeling was all over me but somehow anger managed to overpower it.
"Hn bol jaldi" Rudransh's frustrated voice brought me to earth and I took the last puff of my cigarette and dropped it into the ashtray.
"What is up with you?" I asked and Ashutosh repeated my question.
"These motherfuckers don't know how to fucking work. I'm firing them all. Bastards." A line of curses fell out of his mouth and I knew he was about to beat someone.
"Abhishek is looking fucked up. He has to say something. So, shut up!" Ashutosh stated.
"You get the fuck out of our office. Don't you have any work?" Rudransh growled from the other side and chuckled at Ashutosh.
"Shut up. Motherfuckers. Listen to me." I stated as I composed my posture.
I started to narrate the story and the environment turned to be deadly serious and when there is silence within us boys that means the thing needs serious attention.
"But now I have to marry her. I cannot deny my father. I don't fucking care about the profit but my father. I can do anything for him, this is just marrying." I ended and saw Ashutosh looking at me and his eyes widened.
"I don't know why I'm saying this but I'm proud of you. She is not bad." Rudransh said with genuine concern.
"Mee too. I have a feeling that she'll have a good effect on you." Ashutosh said and instantly cut him off.
"This marriage will strictly be of convenience. We both cannot stand each other for 2 fucking minutes. Both will be living our independent lives just by staying under one roof. " I ran my hand through my hair as I huffed out a breath.
"But--" Ashutosh was cut off by Rudransh.
"Leave Ashu! Everyone has said this before. He'll soon be a puppy for her." He stated and they both laughed.
"I'm not like you," I growled because I knew this would not happen and I would not let this happen.
"Ahn. You cannot be one. Fuck off now. Let me handle these bastards here."
"Do not tell Ahana about this," I uttered because I know he cannot hide things from her and she will not wait for a second to tell her friend about the shit.
"I cannot do that. If she asks I will tell." He said in an authoritative tone and hung up the call.
A phone rang and it was Ashutosh he quickly it up. "I'll see you later." He said and was about to leave but turned towards me.
"She will be good for you." He uttered and left me with my fucked up mind. To get my brain off I decided to do some work before the meeting.
At 4 pm
"Sir, the client is here."
"Make them sit. I'm coming." I ordered her and she left with a nod.
I stood from my seat and took the paper which I made for the counterparty. I moved out of the office and went towards the conference room.
I am very peculiar about things which are mine or going to be mine. Whether be an enemy or a friend. What is mine stays mine and just be safe.
"She is mine to destroy, and mine to annoy."
I pushed the door to the conference room open and I saw a man aged maybe in his 50s sitting with a little arrogance in his posture.
I walked in and he noticed my presence. "Hello, Abhishek." He said as he forwarded his hand but I don't dirt touch me.
"Good Evening. And it is Mr Malhotra for you, Mr Kashyap." I said as I sat on the head chair which was adjacent to him.
"I don't have a habit of beating around the bush. So, let's come to the point." I stated as I opened my file of contract and placed it in front of him.
"What is this?" He said with a confused look and knitted brows. And I smirk internally. Now you see what happens when you deal with Abhishek Malhotra.
"Go ahead and read it." I signalled him to read about his worst days.
"No, wait let me tell you." I wanted to see him fainting at my words.
"The contract states that after signing the deal with our company which is today if I find you and your family mistreating my wife, the deal will be called off. We don't fucking care about the profit loss situation, because we can buy your company to compensate. The moment your daughter gets married to me you all will lose your rights to her. If you ever want to meet her which is the least case scenario you have to take an appointment from me. And I find my wife in pain or tears in her eyes because of you people, you will be brought to roads and will beg from her for her forgiveness." I finished and left him shocked or maybe shocked.
"What?" These were the words which fell from his mouth. I smirked because now I liked it. My anger was satisfied which was bubbling after reading the contract.
"But she is my daughter." He tried to raise his voice and I clicked my touch looking at his fake concern.
"And now she is my wife. You hurt her, I will destroy you." I stood and walked near him while buttoning my coat's button.
I leaned while taking the support keeping my hand on each side of his armrest. "Do not think this of an empty threat. My bodyguard will be keeping an eye on you. Your daughter will be under my protection so you better behave nicely if you want to still live with all the luxury you have." I growled and sweat beads started to form on his forehead.
"Now, sign it." I pushed the paper and pen in his hands and he looked at me with fear which I was loving.
"This stays between us," I said and he nodded to my words.
"It was lovely meeting you," I started and he rushed out of the conference room panicking.
I picked my phone up and dialled my father's number. "Hello"
"Yes, beta." He responded.
"Dad. Kindly sign the deal today."
"What? Really. You and Rudransh talked? Are you okay with marriage?" He shot his questions and I sighed.
"Yes, we talked it is pretty beneficial for the company. And about marriage you know I cannot deny you. So, yes!" I stated as I started to move towards my car.
"Thank you beta. I will tell Rudransh's father too." I hummed in response and hung up the call.
I took some files for studying at home and moved out of the office. I sat in my car and ignited the engine. Soon I hit the roads and my mind was just moving around her thoughts.
I accelerated as my thoughts raced in my mind. How in just a few moments my life took a drastic change and I was too shocked to absorb it.
As I was about to move ahead of a car, I saw a bike and from the back view, it looked like the biker was a girl. I pushed the pedal to see who it was as curiosity took over me.
I sat straight in my seat as I saw myself approaching the bike quickly. At a good distance, I saw its number plate.
I internally smirked when I remembered whom it belonged to.
Just to play with I drifted right behind her bike but she was good enough to dodge it safely and moved ahead of her.
I looked in my rearview as I saw accelerating too and trying to match my speed. Soon she was parallel to my car.
She lifted her helmet's glass and tried to look inside the car. It was tinted and she wasn't able to look inside.
All I could see were the Amber-coloured angry eyes and I smirked at her. She pushed the glass down and sped off.
And I kept my speed low as I saw how well MY WIFE, Mrs Shreya Malhotra rides her beauty.
